Technical Support
To obtain technical assistance with any of our products, you can post your
problem on our technical support forum.
All of our games
requires Microsoft DirectX to run. If you have problem running our games, we
suggest you check to make sure DirectX and drivers (both video and audio) are
installed properly first.
If you're receiving
"missing d3dx9_xx.dll" error, this means your DirectX is not up to date.
(Aug 2009 is the most current version)
To download and install the latest DirectX, please visit Microsoft website at
DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer (only download and install
needed files)
Alternatively, you can download full
DirectX End-User Runtimes (103.3 MB) to upgrade computer without
internet connection during installation.
If you're still having
problem after upgrading DirectX, you should run DxDiag (DirectX diagnostics
program) to test your DirectX and drivers installation.
To run DxDiag, just go to the windows Start menu, select Run..., and type in
dxdiag and hit enter. Once the program is started, you can select Display tab
to run diagnostics on your DirectX display drivers. You want to make sure
everything is enabled and no errors are reported when running the tests. And do
the same on Sound tab to run tests on audio drivers.
DxDiag can save out the results by hitting the "Save All Information" button,
and if you include the result in any support correspondance, we will be able to
help you out much better.
You can also contact
us via an e-mail at support@thirdwire.com, but due to the
enormous amount of SPAM we get and general unreliability of e-mail, we
recommend you use the technical support forum first. If you've
sent e-mail to our support account and did not received any reply, check your
SPAM filter, and/or try re-sending the e-mail from another account.
Please be sure to
include the following information:
|
1. name of the product, including
the version number,
|
|
2. detailed description of the
